烽火台处于北临陡坡，南为冲沟及坡地，西有老虎沟，烽火台上遍生灌木，东有松林，林中有小路自河南村通往此烽火台。
烽火台黄土夯筑，形制较大，已坍塌成圜丘状，保存一般，顶平，顶直径5米，底直径13米，存高南高4.5米，北高2.5米。
标本：少量夹砂红陶片、绳纹灰陶片。不清
材料：黄土
附近遗存：东南3000米为滦平波罗诺隧道烽火台。西北约4.0千米为西山湾烽火台，两台之间应有烽火台，现已无存。
