建筑形式：烽火台位于承德市丰宁县凤山镇铁营村北约600米的黄土山梁上，西北约1000米为坝营村，约2500米为刘营村，北约500米为朝梁沟村。西约20米为手机信号塔，西约2000米为八郎沟村，南约650米为112公路从铁营村中东西通过，南约2500米为牤�
烽火台处于东西走向的山梁之上。黄砂土夯筑，形制较大，已坍塌成圜丘状，保存一般。顶平。南面已坍塌斜坡状，与山体溶为一体，不易辨认，北侧烽体略陡。顶直径5米，底直径12米，南侧存高2.2米，北侧存高1.5米。烽火台向北可望见坝营后山烽火台。
标本：夹蚌红陶片、绳纹灰陶片。不清
材料：黄土
附近遗存：西北约2.4千米为坝营烽火台。东约5.7千米为西山湾烽火台，两台之间应有烽火台，现已无存。
